Both groups - New and Used Truck Sales Associates rely on building and maintaining relationships with their respective buyers. Each associate can proactively create more volume by discovering and gathering the intricate buying habits and preferences of their customers.
Upon completion of this module, associates from both groups will learn to discover and understand highly specific profile information of buyers in their market. Several areas of specific profile information will be covered in this module, leading to creative upselling and overcoming resistance due to promises made by the competition. No longer can an equipment sales representative simply answer the questions asked of them. They must go the extra mile in determining the best solution for the customer.
Even the gathering of information such as how many units, and the make and model can be helpful information for the new and used truck departments. Such intelligence is invaluable to dealership teammates and associates in all dealership departments.
